KICC 2026: Kaspersky ICS CERT experts will explain how to build the ideal information security system for an industrial holding
From September 9 to 11, Sochi will host the Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity Conference, one of the leading international events in industrial cybersecurity. This year’s theme is “Insights from Thought Leaders.” Leaders and experts from major enterprises across various industries will share their experiences and discuss current threats, challenges, as well as solutions that have proven effective in practice.
On the pre-conference day, September 9, a workshop will be held by Evgeny Goncharov, the head of Kaspersky ICS CERT, and Vyacheslav Kopeytsev, a leading expert in information security threat research at Kaspersky ICS CERT. They will share their experience in building an almost ideal information security system for an industrial holding company — one that approaches the maximum level achievable in practice.
Evgeny Kaspersky will open the program on the main day of the conference and provide an overview of the evolution of cyberthreats. He will also offer a glimpse into the future of information security for industrial enterprises.
One of the main topics of discussion at the conference will be the challenges to information security posed by the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Anton Ivanov, Director of Research and Development at Kaspersky, will focus on how artificial intelligence technologies are being used in the company’s industrial protection solutions. And Kaspersky’s Vice President for Business Development in Russia and CIS countries will moderate a panel discussion titled “The Price of Trust: The Economics of Safe AI Use in Industry.”
The event will conclude with a series of closed meetings to allow companies from various industries to exchange valuable, practical knowledge and experience.
